Ben Brown was born in an extreme religious cult on a ranch in northern Wyoming. He didn’t attend school and instead was forced worked in his family bakery starting at age 8. He would often work 12-16 hour days and then sneak books into his room at night to read. He left his family’s way of life when he was 20, attended college, and became first a high school teacher, then a business executive and consultant before finding his true passion in standup comedy as The Fresh King Benjamin.

I grew up on a Mormon polygamist compound. Now I’m a comedian vibing the apocalypse.
